Our only income is the fixed fee agreed with the client before work starts.
2. Nature of Our Services
Our services are analytical and informational only.
We review selected documents and materials to help identify structure, terms, mechanics, and points that may require attention.
We do not:
- provide regulated financial advice
- provide legal, tax, or accounting advice
- recommend whether a client should enter into, continue with, or exit any borrowing arrangement
- compare lenders or products
- arrange finance
- negotiate with lenders or third parties
- provide certification, accreditation, or formal compliance sign-off
- implement systems, controls, or contractual changes
3. Scope of Review
The scope of each engagement is limited to the specific documents and information agreed in advance.
For borrowing reviews, this may include facility letters, agreements, repayment schedules, fee structures, and related contractual documents.
For systems and standards reviews, this may include policies, procedures, process documentation, and other agreed management system materials.
We do not assess:
- affordability
- suitability
- creditworthiness
- business performance
- commercial viability
- legal enforceability
- tax treatment
- accounting treatment
Any observations we provide are based only on the information made available to us at the time of review.
4. Information We Require
We follow a data-minimisation approach and only request information that is relevant and necessary for the agreed scope.
In general, we do not require:
- bank statements
- full statutory or management accounts
- tax returns or VAT filings
- payroll records
- employee records
- identity documents
- full email chains or unrestricted correspondence
- unnecessary personal data
- special category data
Where clarification is needed, limited extracts may be provided, provided they are relevant, proportionate, and suitably redacted.
If you are unsure whether something should be shared, please ask before sending it.
5. How Our Reports Should Be Used
Any report, summary, comment, or other output we provide is intended for the client's internal use only.
It must not be treated as a substitute for independent legal, financial, tax, accounting, or regulatory advice.
It must not be relied upon by any third party unless we have given prior written consent.
You must not circulate our outputs to lenders, brokers, counterparties, funders, investors, or other third parties without our prior written approval.
6. Client Responsibility
You remain responsible for:
- your own decisions
- any action you take based on our findings
- the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide
- deciding whether to seek independent professional advice on matters outside our scope
Our services are designed to support understanding. They do not transfer responsibility for decision-making away from the client.
7. Engagement Review and Discretion
All enquiries are subject to review before we agree to act.
We reserve the right to decline, suspend, or discontinue an engagement at any stage where:
- the request is outside our intended scope
- the information provided is incomplete or unsuitable
- the proposed use of our service is not appropriate
- the matter requires regulated or specialist professional advice
- timelines, scope, or expectations are not compatible with the service offered
We are not required to provide detailed reasons for declining or ending an engagement.
